As alumni, we feel a special connection with Rutgers and its students, which makes the Speed Networking Night such a successful event. The center of this event is dedicated to providing current students with support and networks to help them with their transition into becoming our future alumni.

Over 150 alumni and 150 students from Livingston, Rutgers and other parts of the New Brunswick-Piscataway campus packed the Busch Campus Center on December 2, 2009 for a very successful Alumni-Student Speed Networking Night program, sponsored by the Livingston Alumni Association, Rutgers Alumni Association and Rutgers Career Services. The Rutgers Alumni-Student Speed Networking event is a winner for alumni, who have the opportunity to mingle and get to know each other over a light dinner. Students participating in the program meet with a series of alumni in three-minute intervals, stressing the importance of networking and that every alumni is an important resource. Alumni from all job fields, including business, finance, marketing, human resources, nonprofit, government, education, entertainment and legal, join us each year.  Read a profile of the event in the Rutgers Alumni Association's Fall 2009 issue of 1766 magazine and in an online article in The Home News Tribune.
